Day 121: Baby Food

Someone is starting solid foods!!!! Well, baby food at least. Chorley had her first round of some rice cereal today. She was a little unsure at first what to think and do with it, but once she got the hang of it, she ate the WHOLE bowl of it, and really wasn't too messy!!! We were kinda excited, she did so well. Kinda reminded me of Austin, he just ate it all up and went for it. Though she did make some pretty funny faces!!!

Day 120: Utah Report

Sundays seem to have turned into research day whenever there's a report, science project, or oral report that needs to get done. Austin is working on his 5th grade state report and we got.... Utah!!! Talk about super excited. So it's nice that we know ALOT about Utah, but there's still plenty of research time that is needed to go into this report. So Jeremy is the report & projects guys, I'm the nightly homework leader.

Day 119: Game Day

Saturdays have turned out to be quite the game days this season. Austin has a baseball game and Sydney has had softball games. Luckily they don't overlap much, so then we can get to both games. I love watching the kids games, see them grow over the season, and watch them play hard and progress. I'm so proud of each of them, and their love for sports.

 Day 119: Chorley

Age: 141 days old

Day 118: Beach

Since we live by it, we might as well use it. So after school, we headed over to Hermosa Beach Pier to walk around, check out the scenery and catch some sunrays. The kids played in the sand, we walked the pier, and it was a gorgeous day, no complaining here from me. Earlier that day Katelin, Chorley and I went out to sushi lunch.. so what more can you ask for in a perfect day?

Day 117: Blog Reading

One thing I LOVE to do is read blogs. I have ALL kinda in my blog reader: mainly scrappy, crafty ones, baking, a couple fashion, challenge blogs, family and friends, some photography and other asst ones. In the morning before Chorley wakes up and I have a bit of quiet time, I like to catch up on my blog reading and it's my own lil me time before the day gets crazy.

Day 116: Chorley & Lily

Poor lil Lily... sometimes she gets a bit neglected since Chorley was born.. We often think, if Lily could talk would she say "When I was the baby of the family, I used to get all the love, but that Chorley sure gets all the attention now... " poor doggie. We still love her, and she loved to sniff Chorley, lick up her spit up, and see what she's into.

Day 115: Movie Night

On Tuesdays at the PV movies they have $5 Tuesdays, so it's been nice to kinda catch up on some movies here and there and not pay an arm and a leg to go out. Katelin and I went and saw a total chick flick "The Lucky One." It was good, totally kinda predictable... but defiantly a good chick flick watch.
