Snow... what???
What the heck?? it's not even half way through October and the Snow fairy hit us!! that's right, we woke up to a couple of inches of snow all over the ground this morning and some icy cold temperatures.. not really what I had in mind.. Of course it's supposed to warm up in the next couple of days so I am excited. By the time we got home from church it had melted, so Austin was VERY bummed out he didn't get to play in it.. I was running a bit late so didn't get a photo. Hopefully the snow fairy will stay away till after Halloween.
Corn Belly's
A week ago Friday we went to Corn Belly's for our family Fun Friday.. Luckily the weather was great, we got a couple of sprinkles but it was all good... the kids were surprised since I didn't tell them where we were going and they had a blast!!! Austin was in LOVE with the go carts, and Sydney really loved doing them too.. The place was actually not very crowded at all, which I loved and was grateful for, so the kids got to do alot more and spend more time on the activities. We did the cow train ride, which Austin still loves, jumped on the huge pillow bouncer, and played on the play area. We did the maze, and actually got through it in a good amount of time- those clues really helped.. (thank goodness) and then we did an afternoon hay ride and an evening hay ride also. When we did the evening one, we were the only ones on the ride, so halfway through the driver pulled over and picked us each a small pumpkin, and the kids loved that.. We had a great time and I got lots of photos...

My Grandparents....
If you know me, I've talked about my grandparents before.. they are wonderful, they are amazing and they mean soooo much to be.. I grew up only about 5-10 minutes away from them, they continually have supported me in everything, they have always been at my sports games, piano recitals (when I was much younger), church activities, and birthday parties.. I can't remember a time when they weren't there. I loved going over to their house, they always had such fun holiday BBQs, get togethers, yummy turkey on Thanksgiving and my cousins at their house to play with. I loved it when grandma would bring the M&Ms and we would watch the Wizard of Oz while she babysat. I loved grandpa's excitement for trains and wanting to show you new things on the computer. This is a photo from our last Cali visit, back from Spring Break, and I got this page done. I know it's not my scrap blog, but I just love them sooo much and wanted to express that.. I am soo lucky to have them in my life...

It's Always Fun When Grandpa Comes...
when Grandpa comes to stay... that's forsure.. Today my dad come in for a visit for about 2 weeks and I am very grateful for that.. He's here to help me out a bit, while Jeremy is busy at work.. The kids were sooo excited and all over him.. He play baseball with them, watched them ride their bikes, took them to the park, and also read their books to him.. and that was just all in the afternoon today... So they are very excited he is here too.
Well finally a dream come true of ours.. we are finally getting a fence!! It's only been almost 4 1/2 years since we moved in, but it's one thing that has been on the list of things to do, for a LONG time, and keeps getting passed over. We can't redo the back of the fence, which we would still like to do some day, but will enclose the yard and add a gate.. There was a bit of a problem with the sprinklers from the job that was done when we first moved here, and took some quick thinking and fast acting to rearrange them by our very wonderful and helpful neighbor.. At about 7:00pm they finally poured the cement and set it.. and in about 10 days we will be fenced in and can NOT wait...

Austin's Soccer Season
Well tonight was Austin's last soccer game of the season. This year he was in the all 2nd graders soccer league and really enjoyed coaching and watching him play.. His team really improved and came a long ways, they were passing to each other, using the inside of their foot to kick with, and their dribbling really came along also. I loved watching Austin, he's really good at dribbling down the line. He did make one goal this season, and was just sooo happy to be out on the field. He enjoyed playing both offense and defense (my personal favorite). I can't wait to watch him next year and see how what he'll learn next. He really had an amazing team to work with, and they were just the cutest bunch of kids, and worked really well together... way to go buddy!!!

Austin & coach Mom:Sydney's Soccer Season
Well, this week was the end of the soccer season, so the means the end of coaching... sad, but true. no more practices or games, and trying to get homework done, somewhere in the mix, and oh yeah, make dinner too...
Well this was Sydney's first year of soccer. The very first game she got pushed, and then the ball hit her in the face, and then she wanted to hold me hand while she played soccer durning the game. Well luckily, she turned around half way through the game, otherwise it was going to be a LONG season.. she even scored her first and only goal, the very first game.. She was soo excited. The rest of the season, went great, and I thought she really did such a fabulous job, and wasn't afraid to get in there, and did really well.. sooo proud of her, and so proud to be her coach, she had the cutest little team and really great kids on it...
Sydney, happy that she won the game (ya think???)
